Tonze electric interview from Malaysian media “Entrepreneur”

Recently, a reporter from Entrepreneur, a well-known local media in Malaysia, interviewed the exhibiting brand company Tonze electric appliance Co.,ltd is a well-known domestic home appliance brand company, which brought its core technology products to the exhibition, including ceramic slow cooker, stew pot, electric steamer, bird's nest machine and other series. In a report by Entrepreneur on 6 July, it was mentioned in particular that Tonze's products are very much in line with the Malaysian mass consumption market.

The following is a transcript of the interview.

Entrepreneur Media: Through what channels did you participate in this OCBC Penang Smart Fair and what preparations did you make for the exhibition?

Yihong,Guo, Tonze Electric. :

We are friends of the Qiaoxian Fair

We are friends of the Qiaoxian Fair, and this is the third time we have participated in the Qiaoxian Fair, which has brought us good economic benefits and brand promotion. In the context of the epidemic, we have not been abroad for two or three years. When we received the invitation to participate in the exhibition in March, we immediately signed up, and our company attached great importance and support to the exhibition. All our samples were selected and researched for Malaysia, even for Penang, and we selected some products that are more suitable for the local market, such as the newly developed multi-functional bird's nest machine.

Entrepreneur Media: How did you feel about the exhibition?

Sample were bought and there are already orders being negotiated.

This time, our new products were displayed in the Penang Pavilion, and all the sample we brought with us, apart from those sold on site, our regular customers went to the exhibition , and some of the samples were bought away, and two new products were selected, and the customers were very satisfied with the actual products, and now there are orders under negotiation, this is the most direct economic benefit we generated from this exhibition. In addition, during the three days of the exhibition, we have gained more than 20 effective customers, and we are very glad to have this opportunity to have such a new breakthrough.

Entrepreneur Media: Is this the first time that Tonze has exhibited without people on site? What services from the organisers will actually help you to get customers?

I felt like I was there

The organising committee provided us with a sales assistant. We had a video on line, connected to the sales assistant, and when we had visitors, the sales assistant would immediately feed back to us. Although we were in China, we felt like we were right there in the middle of the process of meeting our customers. The sales assistants helped us a lot this time, collecting business cards for us, making a table of what customers wanted, what their requirements were, what products they were interested in, and what prices they had quoted, all of which were registered and fed back to us. The organisers were very attentive and I believe they had to overcome a lot of difficulties to run the show, which was undoubtedly a great success. The sales assistant who was in charge of our booth, we may have a story with them in the future, our company just needs to find a local one to help us develop the market and collect market information, it just so happens that this sales assistant is interested and has the time to develop into a local salesman for us in Malaysia or even in Penang in the future.

Entrepreneur Media: Will there be further cooperation between Tonze and Qiaotong Fair? Are there any plans for future overseas market development that you can share with us?

Emphasis on developing the markets of Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand.

Our company was founded in 1996 and now has a history of 26 years. We have been insisting on doing our advantageous products, always innovating and making breakthroughs. Through this exhibition, we have exhibited our bird's nest machine, and we hope to further penetrate the markets of Southeast Asia, especially in Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand, with the different capacities of bird's nest machines, ceramic pots and health pots that we have launched in recent years. With the epidemic, there may still be no way to run the market abroad in a short period of time, we are now in great need of some local assistance, and this time this is part of our plan. We also hope to give full play to our oem and odm advantages and open up some new channels overseas.

This time we went to Penang with the help of Qiaotai Smart Fair and made a lot of new friends, which actually filled the gap in the Malaysian market for us. We believe that we will have more stories with Qiaotai in the future. Whether it is the organiser of this exhibition or the sales assistant, or the local Malaysian media people we have just contacted, we feel that there will be a continuation of the story in every aspect, and many new sparks can be made in the future.

The products were favored by the buyers, new and old customers were very satisfied to see the actual products, buying samples and asking for product details .
